Jason is a vocal coach and performer based in Seoul, South Korea. 
He holds a degree in popular music and has also studied classical music, giving him a well-rounded understanding of diverse musical styles.

As a certified Modern Vocal Training (MVT) instructor, he offers personalized vocal coaching that is tailored to each student’s individual needs, utilizing contemporary techniques.

His experience includes performing as a vocalist, serving as a vocal specialist in the Marine Corps Band, performing at the President’s Dinner on Armed Forces Day, and working as a professional and vocal session for musical theater and recording sessions.

Jason has taught at several contemporary music, Kpop academies and is passionate about traveling the world to enhance his teaching skills. Through his commitment to both performance and education, he aims to help students discover their unique voices and succeed in competitions, performances, and recording projects.

The Mixed Voice Technique helps singers sing smoothly from low to high notes while maintaining strength and stability in their upper range.

This technique allows for vocal freedom across all styles, supporting both soft and powerful tones with consistent ease.

It is an effective method for singers of all levels and backgrounds.

By developing a connected range from bottom to top, without breaks or sudden shifts, singers gain greater control over tone, dynamics, and flexibility.

It also improves range, stamina, breath control, resonance, vocal strength, and overall sound quality without causing strain or vocal fatigue.

I teach through the principles of cause and effect, using tools and exercises rather than descriptive language.
